The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Identifying, developing and driving automotive customers according defined strategy.
  • Collaborating closely with own assigned customers to detect new opportunities and manage existing projects leading to active part, net sales and gross profit growth
  • Face-to-face customer visits, building sustainable relationships based on proactive collaboration
  • Highlighting product and its features as well as service offerings based on analyses of customers' applications and requirements
  • Managing inquiries and cater best solution for customer’s needs
  • Accomplishing annual price negotiations with customers
  • Cooperating with Inside Sales and field application engineering to develop and maintain customer relationship
  • Integrate management, engineering, quality and operations personnel in customer interface solutions as required
  • Attending trade shows and conferences

What you bring

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field of studies
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience within the Automotive industry
  • Interest in automotive, technology and electronics
  • Understanding of automotive Tier structure, automotive processes and its risks, core tools (MSA, APQP, CP, FMEA, PPAP) and handling of customer specific requirements
  • Understanding business economics and project management skills
  • Commitment and solution & service orientated mindset
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivation and confidence with ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel
