The Würth Elektronik Group with more than 8200 employees in 50 countries manufactures and sells electronic and electromechanical components, circuit boards and intelligent power and control systems. The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Product development of kilowatt magnetics design and manufacturing
  • Has a global oriented team mindset and interfaces to all related departments
  • Works with the suppliers, factories and customers/IC houses on multiple projects
  • Understanding of development and design processes with project management skills
  • Knowledge of factories and capabilities

What you bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering or comparable technical education
  • At least 5-10 years of professional experience in the development of high power magnetics (>10kW)
  • Ability to bring groups together to brainstorm ideas and generate solutions with knowledge of relevant standards for product development
  • Good presentation, communication and conflict resolution skills both verbal and written
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time. (Domestically and Internationally)
  • Your strengths: structured and independent working style, team player and strong communication skills, Good German and English language skills, Chinese is a bonus
