The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Responsible manager for a design engineering team
  • Design power transformer and custom magnetics to ensure new product releases meets cost and manufacturability requirements
  • Establish and maintain product development schedules and generate accurate estimates of manufacturing cost
  • Good understanding of safety standards to support customer needs and to design accordingly
  • Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing and quality departments

What you bring

  • Bachelor or Master in Electrical or Mechnical Engineering or equivalent degree
  • minimum of 5 years experience in managing and product engineering role
  • Knowledge of design and development of customized magnetics is a definite plus
  • Fluent English written and verbal is a must. German knowledge is preferable
  • Hands-on mentality and experience in characterization and testing of electronic components
  • Your strengths: Pro-active self-driven, very good communicator, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, customer orientated way of working
