The Würth Elektronik Group with more than 7500 employees in 50 countries manufactures and sells electronic and electromechanical components, circuit boards and intelligent power and control system. 

What to expect

  • To provide day to day technical support and solutions to our customer base on a wide range of passive components such as Magnetics, Capacitors, Resistors, Oscillators and Optoelectronics as well as active components such as DC/DC modules, RF modules and sensors.
  • Assist our Field Sales team during customer visits and video conferences on technical and product matters, through in-depth product knowledge and experience to provide a service driven customer focus.
  • To increase the number of parts/components designed onto the BoM
  • Write technical presentations and application notes on the Passive and Active product ranges for a global audience.
  • Present technical material in which to educate and promote the Passive and Active range of products and services at external and internal seminars.

What you bring

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Analogue electronic design and implementation is a bonus. Practical experience is preferred with an analytical mindset focused upon developing solutions.
  • We expect a successful candidate to have knowledge of a number of areas of electronics such as power supply design and implementation, EMC filtering and Communication protocols. Experience and knowledge of DC/DC converter topologies such as Buck, Boost, SEPIC and flyback.
  • Experience and knowledge of offline (AC/DC) topologies such as flyback, forward and LLCR is a bonus.
  • Also knowledge of RF, RF modules and the protocols would also be advantageous for this role
  • Ambitious and outgoing nature will ensure fast development and career progression. The ideal candidate should enjoy meeting different people on a regular basis and building relationships.
