What to expect

  • Responsible for development of Würth Elektronik ICS brand and presence in Japan
  • Develop a sales strategy to increase the market share of Würth Elektronik ICS
  • Take the lead on key sales opportunities, working with the sales teams of their distribution partner
  • Providing technical support regarding projects and following the technical developments of Products and Systems
  • Responsible for acquiring new business opportunities, he will play a key role in the exploration, expansion, and growth of the Würth Elektronik ICS market. For this he will have contact with clients, partners, and Würth Elektronik ICS international organization
  • Responsible for creating and implementing marketing activities including local advertising, trade shows, technology conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and interfacing with governmental and industry standards organizations

What you bring

  • Knowledge of the Japanese markets and our target sectors (construction, agriculture, truck and bus)
  • Several years of experience in project work in a technical environment ideally in the commercial vehicle/automotive industry (OEM/Tier 1)
  • Initial successful sales experience of technical products and products requiring explanation, ideally in construction, agricultural and commercial vehicle environment
  • Major strengths: positive solution-oriented thinking, strong communication skills, ambition and a high intrinsic motivation to achieve goals
