The Würth Elektronik Group with more than 8200 employees in 50 countries manufactures and sells electronic and electromechanical components, circuit boards and intelligent power and control systems. The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Work with internal and external consultant to make sure we are legally/tax compliant in the EU, e.g. permanent establishment, tax registration, local reporting, and tax filings
  • Review financial data, reconcile financial books and ensure all transactions are booked correctly
  • Collaborate with the accounting team in the US for reporting, month-end and year-end closing
  • Provide financial analysis to help management and other departments on their business decisions
  • This position is to be filled on a full or part-time basis (min. 25h). In part-time, the volume of tasks will of course be adjusted

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent degree and 5+ years of related accounting experiences
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with permanent establishment in various countries of EU
  • Good understanding of OECD tax agreement ( e.g. BEPS, anti-fragmentation)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English and German
