Join our international Big Data team and dive into the world of data! We work in a modern, agile environment with small, dynamic project teams. Whether on-site in Germany or remotely, we are well-connected and thrive on open collaboration across locations. During your internship, you’ll be actively involved in analyzing big data, building mathematical models, and developing applications and reports for global stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with various departments to optimize processes and explore cutting-edge technologies in data science and machine learning.   • Strategic work: Integrate and analyze big data from various data sources to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to strategic business solutions
  • Set focus: Deliver business insights based on data exploration, mathematical modeling, and machine learning
  • Design IT structures: Build applications, models, and reports to help deliver impactful data-driven products to our stakeholders across the globe
  • Connect processes: Collaborate with different operational departments in supporting the existing analysis and optimization process
  • Understand technology: Research in the state-of-the-art algorithms and mathematical models
  • Create new things: Make flowcharts and diagrams for projects overview

What Makes You the Perfect Match

  • Basics: Pursuing a degree in a quantitative area such as Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Information Technology or comparable area
  • Curiosity: Skills in performing quantitative analysis mainly in Python or R and Experience in SQL. Experience in working with machine learning or deep learning framework is a plus
  • Communication: Good english skills
  • Your Special Skills: Good understanding in data visualization techniques
