The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Create 3D/2D CAD drawings, Design for manufacturing
  • Design of mechanical interfaces for power electronic components
  • Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors
  • Researching new materials or technologies to increase the added value of products
  • Further development of knowledge about the design and composition of subcomponents

What you bring

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, Mechatronics or comparable technical education
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in creating and designing components
  • Ability to work in a team and on joint projects, as well as basic knowledge of passive electronic components
  • Curious, problem solver, multitasking, a disruptive mindset and strong organization skills
  • Solidworks / Autocad and ANSY for mechanical design
  • Your strengths: structured and independent working style, strong communications skills, good in English language skills, German and Chinese is a bonus
