The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, a US based company with its European headquarters in Germany, is focused on the design and manufacture of custom magnetics.
 

What to expect

  • Design customized magnetics (Power Transformers, Inductors, Power supply etc.) to meet the specification under producibility criteria and cost effectiveness
  • Responsibility for the product throughout the entire life cycle (design to end of life)
  • Understanding of safety standards to support customer needs and to design accordingly
  • Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing and quality departments
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team to provide solutions under quality aspects

What you bring

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, Physics, Physical Engineering or equivalent, work experience 5+ years is an advantage
  • Interest of design and development of customized magnetics
  • Experience in the field of power supply and power electronics development
  • Fluent English written and verbal is a must, German is an advantage
  • Customer oriented way of working
  • Your strengths: able to work in a team, structured and independent way of working and hands-on mentality
